About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to oversee construction execution, vendor coordination, and project monitoring at a major infrastructure site in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This is a contractual role (2 years) that demands strong on-site management capabilities, technical acumen, and the ability to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effective delivery within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Coordinate on-site activities with contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure compliance and smooth execution
Monitor and enforce quality and safety standards at the project site
Maintain accurate daily progress reports, including material usage, manpower, and site documentation
Support the Project Manager in comparative analysis, vendor negotiations, and work finalization
Identify and escalate project risks, delays, or material shortages proactively
Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials and equipment to avoid project bottlenecks

Desired Skills & Competencies

Minimum 5 years of experience in civil project execution or site engineering
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
Proven track record in site supervision and coordination
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project tracking tools
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and lead site teams effectively

Education

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
