A) ROLE PURPOSE
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and facilitating communication between different departments to achieve project objectives efficiently.
B) KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Sr. Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning and execution of electronic design projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
Coordinate with Design Engineers, Technicians, and other Team members to align efforts. Prepare and Track Project timelines, Schedules, and milestones and report on progress to concerned people.
2. Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and to concerned people.
Prepare and present project status reports, updates.
Address client feedback and resolve issues promptly.
Schedule and organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
Address inquiries and escalate issues to the concerned people when necessary.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain project documentation, including specifications, plans, progress reports, and logs. Assist in preparing presentations and project updates to concerned people. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and stored in the designated repository.
4. Risk and Issue Tracking:
Identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the project and report them to the Project Manager.
Ensure that all team members are aware of any changes to the project scope or timeline.
5. Support:
Verify compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements if required any.
Assist in getting if any Certifications are required for the Project like CE, UL Support testing and validation processes as needed.
6. Miscellaneous:
Support as an when required for the various tasks like Harness Drawing preparation, Standardizing Technical Documents. Lead, monitor and coordinate the activity related to SZ-Finder, Product Videos. Preparation of Product Process Document, Comparison sheets (Comparison of components, products), specification sheet of New Projects and PPT of Project Information, Manual.
C) TEAM MANAGEMENT SKILLS
1. Time Management: Help team members prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively. Set realistic deadlines and ensure the team has the necessary resources to complete their work efficiently.
2. Motivation and Recognition: Recognise and reward team members for their accomplishments and hard work. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their best through positive reinforcement and acknowledgement of their contributions.
3. Problem-Solving: Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team. Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to identify and address challenges, proposing innovative solutions to improve processes and overcome obstacles.
4. Decision-Making: Make informed and timely decisions that benefit the team and the organisation. Involve team members in the decision-making process when appropriate, considering their input and perspectives.
D) QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Electronics/ETC/Instrumentation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2 4 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role in the electronic design or manufacturing industry
E) KNOWLEDGE SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
Technical Skill:
Strong understanding of electronic design principles, design processes and embedded systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, testing, and quality assurance standards in electronic design. Review electronic designs, prototypes, and production-ready outputs. Basic understanding of electronic design concepts. Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FCC, CE, UL) in the Electronic Design Industry would be an advantage. Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Jira or similar) will be an added advantage.
Behavioral Skill:
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
