Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Controller at Linxon, you will play a crucial role in the newly established project team in Puerto Rico. Your responsibilities will include budget management, cost analysis, schedule coordination, resource allocation, risk management, reporting on operations, compliance, contract management/commercial aspects, and collaboration with various stakeholders. You will ensure project success by implementing effective project control strategies and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed project budgets for EPC projects. - Monitor and control project expenditures, identifying and reporting any budget variances. - Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting, preparing cost estimates and implementing cost-saving measures. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with operational teams to ensure timely completion of milestones. - Manage resource allocation, track utilization, and resolve conflicts. - Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk register. - Prepare and present regular financial and progress reports, ensuring transparency and accuracy. - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. - Monitor contract performance and compliance, collaborate with legal and procurement teams, and support tendering activities. - Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Solid experience in project control, preferably in the Energy construction or EPC sector, with knowledge of Puerto Rico's local requirements. - Proficiency in project management software, financial analysis tools, and computer literacy. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and experience in reading and understanding contracts. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
