Project Construction and Commissioning Manager

As a Project Manager Engineering and/or Construction & Commissioning at Hitachi Energy, your role will involve coordinating all engineering activities within a project to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and coordinate Construction and Commissioning processes related to the project scope - Organize and conduct Kick Off meetings for the C&C Team - Prepare initial plans for Storage Location, Identification, Preservation, and Maintenance - Coordinate handover process from Tendering to Construction, reviewing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and opportunities - Drive the review and approval of constructability strategy during milestones and implement at execution - Coordinate site activities startup and preparation process with the Site Manager - Monitor and report on construction execution, cost, and planning - Participate in monthly project reviews and present status to Management team - Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and project specific certifications - Allocate, manage, and coordinate Non-Budgeted Costs (NBC) for cost reporting - Provide timely and accurate information to Project Director and Construction management - Coordinate Construction disciplines for project scope accomplishment - Ensure adherence to HVDC C&C processes, instructions, and guidelines - Provide lessons learned session after Handover of the project **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with relevant work experience - Work authorization permitting employment at Hitachi Energy - Previous experience in selling services and winning new business - Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines - Project financial authorities as per Delegation of Authority - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, emphasizing responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
