Role Overview:The Progression Incharge plays a pivotal role in ensuring student success throughout theiracademic journey. This role goes beyond reactive support — it requires a proactive mindsetto anticipate student needs, identify academic and personal challenges early, and act swiftlyto ensure students stay on track. The ideal candidate is someone who combines studentempathy with data-savviness, problem-solving initiative, and strong interpersonalcommunication skills. Key Responsibilities:1. Student Support & Engagement● Proactively monitor student performance, attendance, and engagement to detectpotential issues early.● Take initiative in designing and executing intervention strategies (extra sessions,mentoring, academic support) without waiting for formal requests.● Act as a guide and mentor to students, helping them make informed academic andcareer decisions.● Utilize student feedback to enhance support processes and improve the overallstudent experience. 2. Problem-Solving & Initiative● Demonstrate ownership and autonomy in identifying and solving student-relatedchallenges.● Innovate and implement new approaches to improve academic outcomes andstudent motivation.● Continuously refine processes to enhance student engagement and supportmechanisms. 3. Technical & Data Handling● Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into studentperformance and engagement.● Analyse academic and behavioural trends using tools like Google Sheets or Excel torecommend targeted academic interventions.● Leverage data to create action plans in collaboration with faculty and academicleaders.Ideal Candidate Profile:● Experience: Prior experience in a student-facing or support role (student success,mentorship, academic operations, etc.). ● Skills:○ Strong problem-solving mindset; self-starter who doesn’t wait for direction.○ Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel for data analysis and reporting.○ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with bothstudents and faculty. ● Attributes:○ Proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented.○ Able to balance data insights with human judgment.○ Confident in handling escalations and maintaining student trust and respect
