Role Overview

Join our tight-knit engineering team as the orchestrator who turns chaos into clarity. As Program Manager, you&aposll identify and balance technical, engineering, and product priorities to keep our high-performing team building at high velocity. We&aposre a team that doesn&apost solve problems conventionallywe approach every challenge from first principles and build solutions others might not attempt. With no formal project management tools or processes currently in place, you&aposll build the operational foundation from the ground up while you eliminate the "think and coordinate" overhead so our engineers can focus purely on creating exceptional security, backup, and website management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design project plans for interconnected feature releases and manage technical dependencies
  • Break down complex initiatives into clear, actionable tasks that eliminate ambiguity for engineers
  • Understand team members' strengths and capacity to optimize task assignments and prevent bottlenecks
  • Implement project management tools and workflows that maximize team throughput
  • Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and manage feature prioritization
  • Provide regular project status updates and anticipate risks before they impact delivery
  • Form an understanding of priorities and needs of the organization through regular cadences you set for yourself

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in technical project management or program management
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering workflows
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana, Linear, etc.)
  • Ability to influence and coordinate technical teams without direct authority
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business contexts
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with bias toward action and continuous improvement

  • Engineering team consistently delivers features on schedule with minimal coordination overhead
  • Clear visibility into project status, risks, and resource allocation across all initiatives
  • Improved team velocity through streamlined processes and reduced context switching for engineers
