To be considered for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 15 years of overall experience is required, with specific criteria including at least 5 years of teaching experience at a recognized university or institution, and 5 years of post-PhD experience in relevant academic or industry roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum design and development. Strong publication record in reputed journals, active involvement in research, consultancy, or industry collaboration in hospitality or tourism domains is highly valued. Leadership skills are essential for this role, including the ability to lead academic initiatives, guide junior faculty, and contribute to institutional growth through innovative pedagogical and research approaches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a student-centric approach, and the ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment are also key competencies sought in potential candidates.
