Proposal development & liaison: Drive concept notes, budgets, compliance; coordinate multistakeholder submissions; manage funder relations.

Research partnerships: Secure MOUs/LOIs with universities/labs/fisheries institutes; co- develop bilateral proposals (JSPS/JST/etc. ); set data/IRB pathways and authorship plans.

Consortium building: Engage fisheries co-ops, mariculture firms, blue-food/cosmetics players, and ocean-tech startups for pilots and product R&D.

Programs & events: Plan workshops/roundtables/site visits; produce agendas, decks, and proceedings (JP/EN).

Bilingual communications: Prepare partner decks, research briefs, translate/interpret for meetings as needed.

Data & reporting: Maintain CRM/grants tracker; report KPIs on funds, partners, pilots, and outputs.

Values & safeguards: Embed women s empowerment, community inclusion, ethical research, and environmental safeguards
