Role & responsibilities

Monitor applications and production systems to ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, errors, and performance problems.
Analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes.
Write and execute basic scripts (Shell/Python) for automation and support tasks.
Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Support application deployments, patches, and release activities.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of application support and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with
SQL
and basic database operations.
Good knowledge of
Linux/Unix commands
and log analysis.
Familiarity with
application monitoring tools
(Splunk, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Basic scripting knowledge (
Shell/Python
) is a plus.
Experience with
ticketing tools
like ServiceNow or Jira.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of
ITIL processes
(Incident, Problem, Change).
Quick learner with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
