Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Smart Infrastructure Division at Siemens Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, reliable, and intelligent transmission and distribution of electrical power. Your responsibilities will include planning and performing routine testing of circuit breakers, ensuring readiness for customer inspections, handling site issues, interacting with vendors, supporting various departments, and maintaining records and reports. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and perform routine testing of circuit breakers according to relevant standards and customer requirements to ensure product quality. - Coordinate testing manpower, provide training to workmen on new products, troubleshoot issues, and provide input for process planning. - Ensure readiness of breakers for customer inspections, submit compliance reports, and incorporate necessary changes suggested by customers. - Provide support to customer department in resolving site issues, including visiting sites for serious issues and interacting with customers for feedback. - Visit vendors to provide feedback for improvements, conduct vendor audits, and incorporate check points at vendor end. - Support other departments by providing feedback on drawing and manufacturing issues, attending production meetings, and assisting in product development and testing. - Generate monthly MIS, FPY, and DPT reports, maintain calibration of instruments, and keep audit reports updated. Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech with 5+ years of experience or Diploma with 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
