Job Description

Supervise and Coordinate Staff:
Oversee and mentor fabrication teams, allocating resources and manpower to meet production targets.
Ensure Production Schedules:
Monitor and meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, adjusting schedules to meet demand and deadlines.
Maintain Quality Standards:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and take corrective actions to ensure products meet specifications.
Uphold Safety and Compliance:
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage Processes and Equipment:
Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
Coordinate with Other Departments:
Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve issues, optimize workflow, and align goals.
Manage Inventory:
Oversee inventory of raw materials and supplies to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
Maintain Records and Reporting:
Keep accurate records of production output, downtime, and staff performance, preparing reports for management.

Required Qualifications

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a technical degree or a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field being an advantage.
Experience:
Several years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, often with proven supervisory experience.
Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A solid understanding of fabrication processes and machinery.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
