Develop alternate vendors for critical items to avoid production stoppages. 2. Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers/subcontractors. Negotiate with vendors for cost reduction, credit terms, and better delivery schedules. Maintain approved supplier list (ASL) and monitor vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery). 3. Order & Inventory Management Issue purchase orders (PO) and follow up for timely deliveries. Monitor stock levels of raw materials and consumables to ensure availability. Coordinate with the stores team for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inventory control. 4. Cost & Budget Control Ensure best purchase price without compromising quality.
