Job Description

Job Purpose

IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System

Role & responsibilities

1. IATF 16949 Compliance

Implement and maintain IATF 16949 QMS requirements.
Prepare and update quality manuals, procedures, and records.
Support internal, external, and customer audits (system, process, product).
Monitor KPIs (rejection %, customer complaints, NC closures).

2. PPAP Documentation & Submission

Prepare complete PPAP packages (all 18 elements).
Create and maintain
DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams
.
Conduct MSA (Gauge R&R) and SPC studies for process validation.
Submit PPAP Level 3 (or as per customer requirement) and ensure timely approval.

3. Process & Product Quality

Monitor in-process and final inspections as per control plan.
Investigate customer complaints using
8D / 5-Why / Root Cause Analysis
.
Implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

4. Customer & Supplier Interaction

Coordinate with customers for PPAP approval and quality feedback.
Handle customer-specific requirements (CSR).
Audit suppliers and ensure compliance with IATF standards.

5. Continuous Improvement

Drive Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Lean initiatives to reduce defects.
Support new product development (APQP).
Ensure zero-defect culture in manufacturing processes.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of
IATF 16949:2016
requirements.
Hands-on experience in
PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans
.
Exposure to
internal & customer audits
.
Good documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication for customer & supplier interaction
