Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations of surgical gloves, ensuring production targets are met with quality, efficiency, and safety. This role involves supervising machine operators, monitoring process parameters, and implementing improvements for productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily glove production activities in the plant.
Ensure machines and production lines are operating efficiently and safely.
Monitor raw material usage, wastage control, and process parameters.
Ensure the production schedule is met with minimum downtime.
Enforce compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance if required.
Train and guide line operators and workers for consistent performance.
Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, and quality records.
Liaise with the Quality and Maintenance departments for smooth operation.
Implement 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of glove dipping process and manufacturing equipment
Leadership and team supervision skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and regulatory compliance (CE/FDA preferred)
Ability to handle shift operations and manage manpower efficiently
Basic knowledge of maintenance, safety protocols, and quality inspection
Computer skills for production data entry and reporting

Working Conditions:

Shift-based work (Day/Night)
