Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or operational environment and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations on the shop floor or department
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet production or operational targets
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies
• Maintain quality standards and minimize rework, waste, or downtime
• Monitor machinery/equipment and coordinate with maintenance when needed
• Train, coach, and support team members to improve skill and productivity
• Report on shift progress, delays, incidents, or deviations to management
• Keep accurate records of production output, attendance, and equipment status
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Planning, Stores) for smooth workflow
• Enforce 5S, TPM, or other continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field preferred
• 3–6 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Experience in [insert industry – manufacturing, logistics, metal forming, etc.]
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and productivity metrics
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP systems)

Work Environment:

• Shop floor / Factory / Warehouse setting
• May require shift work, weekends, or overtime depending on production schedule
• PPE required in designated areas

Growth Path:

Successful supervisors may progress to roles such as Senior Supervisor, Department Manager, Production Head, or Operations Manager based on performance.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
