Job Description

We require Production Planning Engineer at Naigaon East (Palghar)

Position: Engineer - PPC
Experience :- 2+ years
Qualification :- B.E.,B.Tech (Electronic/ Mech)
Interview Location :- Naigaon
CTC: 2-3 LPA

JOB RESPONSIBILITY -

To own, lead and control the overall operations of PPC dept.
Capacity Planning for each dept.
Define, monitor & measure production objectives
Preparing monthly & daily production schedules
Determining the manpower, equipment & raw materials needed to meet the production demand
Coordinating with stores & purchase to ensure availability of raw material
Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products.
Reviewing Plan vs Actual on daily basis
To maintain optimum inventory level so that space & funds are not blocked
To ensure maximum utilization of all resources
To minimize the product throughput time
Focus on cost reduction
Monitoring production & raw material cost
Monitoring wastage & take measures to minimize it
Addressing & resolving production/ quality issues to minimize delays
Identify delays & accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines
Identify bottle neck & break the same for smooth and efficient production
OEE monitoring
collecting & analyzing data about production & performance
Suggesting methods to improve production efficiency
Ensure that finished goods meet quality standards & customer specifications
Improve customer satisfaction through quality & on-time delivery
Communication with sales dept. if any changes are made in production schedules
Motivating the operations team to achieve the target
Generating monthly MIS reports to apprise the top management
Implement lean manufacturing tools like 5s, Kaizen, JIT on the shopfloor
