About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled drum dryer operator to manage and operate the drum drying equipment in our potato flakes processing line. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, maintaining equipment efficiency, and following food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor drum dryer machinery for potato flake production.
• Adjust steam pressure, drum speed, and feed rate to achieve desired product quality.
• Conduct regular checks on moisture, texture, and flake thickness.
• Maintain proper cleaning, sanitization, and safety procedures around the machine.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor issues with the dryer and coordinate with maintenance when required.
• Record production data, machine parameters, and downtime accurately.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and plant safety guidelines during operations.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Processing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the food processing industry with drum dryers preferred.
• Knowledge of steam systems, drying principles, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle continuous operations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
