Production Manager

As a Manufacturing Production Manager, your primary responsibility is to plan and organise production schedules, assess project and resource requirements, and estimate budgets and timescales with clients and managers. You will monitor production to resolve any issues, ensure that health and safety regulations are met, and determine quality control standards. Additionally, you will oversee production processes, select materials, organise equipment maintenance, liaise with buyers and sales staff, supervise junior staff, and conduct relevant training sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Planning and organising production schedules - Assessing project and resource requirements - Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales - Monitoring production and resolving issues - Ensuring health and safety regulations are met - Determining quality control standards - Overseeing production processes - Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary - Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials - Organising equipment maintenance - Liaising with buyers, marketing, and sales staff - Supervising and managing junior staff - Organising relevant training sessions Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering - Experience: 8+ years in manufacturing management, preferably in the PEB/Machine manufacturing industry - Proficiency with AutoCAD/CATIA - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant ERP systems - Deep knowledge of production management - Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations - Knowledge of budgeting concepts - Experience in reporting on key production metrics - Outstanding communication ability - Excellent organizational and leadership skills - Attention to detail - Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach,
