Production Manager

Lead and manage all production operations in a precision CNC job shop environment. Oversee scheduling, quality (GD&T), process optimization, and utilize ERP systems effectively. Requires hands-on CNC programming/operations expertise and proficiency with Fanuc & Siemens controls.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily production activities to meet delivery deadlines and quality expectations.
• Utilize and leverage the company's ERP system for production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and data analysis.
• Oversee CNC programming and provide technical guidance to the programming team.
• Possess hands-on knowledge of CNC machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes, ensuring parts meet exact specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve key production metrics, such as efficiency, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and scrap reduction.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and quality departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of orders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC technology and manufacturing processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of various machining processes and materials.
• Proactive and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• B.E or Diploma in mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
