Production Manager

Job Description

Lead and manage all production operations in a precision CNC job shop environment. Oversee scheduling, quality (GD&T), process optimization, and utilize ERP systems effectively. Requires hands-on CNC programming/operations expertise and proficiency with Fanuc & Siemens controls. Role & responsibilities Manage and optimize daily production activities to meet delivery deadlines and quality expectations. Utilize and leverage the company's ERP system for production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and data analysis. Oversee CNC programming and provide technical guidance to the programming team. Possess hands-on knowledge of CNC machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes, ensuring parts meet exact specifications and GD&T requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Monitor and improve key production metrics, such as efficiency, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and scrap reduction. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and quality departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of orders. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC technology and manufacturing processes. Preferred candidate profile Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma). Familiarity with CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of various machining processes and materials. Proactive and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
