Production Manager (Heavy structural Fabrication industry)

Roles and Responsibility

• Production Planning & Scheduling:Creating and managing production schedules, forecasting demand, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Supervision & Team Management:Overseeing production staff, providing guidance, and ensuring they have the necessary resources and training.
• Quality Control:Establishing and maintaining quality control standards, ensuring products meet specifications, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Resource Management:Managing raw materials, equipment, and other resources to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Budget Management:Developing and managing production budgets, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment, and implementing safety protocols.
• Collaboration & Communication:Working with other departments (e.g., engineering, logistics, sales) to ensure smooth production flow and meet business goals.
• Performance Monitoring:Tracking production KPIs, analyzing data, and reporting on performance to upper management.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Ensuring equipment is properly maintained, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs.
• Inventory Management:Managing raw materials and finished goods inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste.
