Production Manager - Galvanized Wire

Galvanized (GI) Wire manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee

  day-to-day production operations

  of GI Wire manufacturing.
• Ensure

  quality control

  as per industry and customer standards.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor

  production activities

  to achieve targets.
• Manage and lead the

  production team, supervisors, and operators

  .
• Optimize

  manpower utilization, machine performance, and resources

  .
• Implement and monitor

  process improvements

  for higher productivity.
• Control

  production costs, wastage, and downtime

  .
• Coordinate with

  maintenance teams

  for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure adherence to

  safety, compliance, and environmental regulations

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  production reports, MIS, and KPIs

  for management review.
• Work closely with

  R&D and quality teams

  for product and process enhancements.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma in

  Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering

  (preferred).

• 8–12 years of experience

  in the

  wire industry

  , with at least

  5 years in GI wire manufacturing

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  wire drawing, annealing, galvanizing, coating, and packaging processes

  .
• Proven leadership ability with

  team management experience

  .
• Excellent skills in

  production planning, process optimization, and problem-solving

  .
• Familiarity with

  ISO, quality systems, and safety standards

  in manufacturing.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
