Manufacturing processes: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology. Quality control and assurance: Understanding, monitor and maintain quality standards, implementing corrective actions of quality control principles, assurance, procedures, and standards. Lean manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Process improvement: Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. Production metrics: Familiarity with production metrics, such as OEE, throughput, and cycle time. Familiarity with industry specific regulations: Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as OSHA, FDA, or ISO standards. Technical documentation: Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and records. Supervise Production Staff: Oversee and direct production line staff, ensuring efficient operations. Meet Production Targets: Ensure production targets, deadlines, and schedules are met. Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime. Process Improvement: Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations. Training and Development: Train and develop production staff to improve skills and performance. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and excess. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Production Line Supervisor to manage the Production Line management systems. The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day operations on the production floor. This includes supervising line workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules, maintaining product quality, enforcing safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in processes and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to Plant Manager. Oversee production line operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Supervise, train and coordinate activities of production line workers and production line staff to meet daily output targets. Ensure that production schedules are followed and adjusted as needed to meet demand. Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions. Monitor line performance and address bottlenecks, delays, or equipment issues promptly. Manage production schedules, meeting deadlines and targets. Identify and resolve production issues, implementing process improvements. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams. Maintain accurate records and reports. Maintain high standards of product quality through adherence to SOPs and inspection protocols. Train and mentor line employees on safety, quality, and operational procedures. Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Complete production reports, shift summaries, and documentation accurately and on time. Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement practices. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues and optimize efficiency. Participate in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical field. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment and supervisory experience is a plus. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control systems. Familiarity with production equipment and basic troubleshooting. Proficient in using production tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools.
