Job Description

Job Summary:

Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards (USFDA, WHO, etc.).
  • Lead production teams across shifts, ensuring safety, productivity, and discipline.
  • Troubleshoot plant/process issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation (BMRs, logs, deviations, CAPAs).
  • Promote a strong safety and compliance culture on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
  • 8+ years in chemical/API manufacturing, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, batch processes, safety protocols, and production planning.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
