• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth operations. • Implement production schedules and adjust workflows to meet customer requirements and deadlines. • Supervise and guide production teams, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and minimize downtime. • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. • Maintain production records, analyze performance data, and prepare reports for management review. • Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization initiatives. • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams for seamless operations. • Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation. • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and ethical standards.
• Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • Additional certification in Production/Operations Management will be an advantage. • 8-12 years of experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • Experience in minerals, heavy engineering, or process manufacturing industry preferred. • Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and lean manufacturing practices. • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools. • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO/TS standards) and safety management practices. • Hands-on experience in handling production equipment and troubleshooting operational issues.
