Role & responsibilities

The candidate must have strong technical expertise, fabrication knowledge, team handling skills, and the ability to understand EVA Cloud drawings.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years experience in System Aluminium Windows & Doors production.

• Strong technical knowledge of:

• Profiles

• Hardware

• Gaskets

• System manuals

• Expert in EVA Cloud for window & door drawings.

• Excellent in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas, Data Tracking).

• Strong leadership, communication

Key Responsibilities (Technical + Operational)

Production Management

• Plan, schedule, and control daily, weekly, and monthly fabrication targets.
• Supervise end-to-end fabrication activities:
• Profile cutting
• Routing
• End milling
• Crimping
• Punching
• Assembly
• Gasket fixing
• Hardware installation
• Implement proper workflow to ensure smooth production flow and reduce delays.

2 Technical Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of System Aluminium Windows & Doors:
• Sliding systems
• Casement systems
• Tilt & Turn, Fixed Windows
• Sliding/Folding & Hinged Doors
• Ability to:
• Read system profiles
• Identify sections & hardware integration
• Ensure proper drainage slots, weep holes, and tolerances
• Must be proficient in EVA Cloud for:
• Reading system drawings
• Verifying hardware sets
• Extracting cutting lists and fabrication details
• Cross-checking glass entries
• Ensure all fabrication meets system provider standards.

3 Quality Control & Process Standards

• Monitor shop-floor fabrication quality through:
• Diagonal checks
• Squareness
• Smoothness of operation (sliding/opening/locking)
• Alignment accuracy
• Hardware fitting precision
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection checklists.
• Work to reduce:
• Fabrication errors
• Rework & rejections
• Material wastage
• Ensure excellent finishing, edge protection, and safety standards.

Material Planning & Inventory Management

• Plan material as per project requirements:
• Aluminium profiles
• Hardware
• EPDM gaskets
• Fasteners & brackets
• Accessories
• Maintain daily tracking of:
• Material consumption
• Wastage
• Stock balance
• Provide procurement team with accurate requirements based on EVA Cloud.

Machine Handling & Production Tools

• Supervise operations of:
• Double-head cutting machine
• End milling machine
• Router machine
• Punching machines
• Crimping machines
• Ensure machines are calibrated and maintained.
• Implement preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.

Reporting & Excel MIS

Candidate must be excellent in Excel reporting.

Should prepare:

• Daily Production Report (DPR)
• Cutting vs Fabrication report
• Daily wastage & rejection tracking
• Material consumption report
• Weekly & Monthly MIS
• Project-wise performance report
• Productivity & efficiency analysis

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and manage teams for:
• Cutting
• Assembly
• QC
• Dispatch
• Conduct training for fabrication technicians.
• Allocate manpower based on workload and priorities.
• Coordinate with:
• Design team (for drawings & clarifications)
• Procurement team
• Site installation team
• Management
• Maintain discipline, safety, and 5S standards in the workshop.
