Production Engineer (Supervisor)

Job Description: As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day control cable manufacturing and assembly operations on the shop floor. Your role will involve ensuring that production schedules are met with optimal resource utilization and monitoring machine operations and workforce productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that products meet company and industry quality standards (ISO/TS/IATF). - Coordinate with the QC department to address and resolve quality issues immediately. Qualifications Required: - Lead, motivate, and train production staff and operators. - Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with SOPs. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also need to enforce health, safety, and environmental guidelines as per Compliance standards. It will be your responsibility to conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment. You will also be required to monitor raw material consumption, ensure proper inventory levels, and coordinate with stores and purchase departments for timely availability of materials. Additionally, maintaining daily production reports, rejection reports, downtime analysis, and attendance logs will be part of your routine tasks. You will also need to prepare shift-wise MIS for production and machine efficiency. Furthermore, you will participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the production process.
