Production Engineer

Job Title: Production Engineer (Cable Industry)Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer with experience in the cable industry to manage and optimize our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cable manufacturing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a drive for continuous improvement. This role involves overseeing daily operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality and safety on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance production processes, specifically within cable manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on the production line to minimize downtime.
• Assist in planning and executing production schedules to meet targets.
• Ensure products meet all quality standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with design, quality control, and maintenance teams for seamless production.
• Conduct process analysis and suggest improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance.
• Enforce health and safety protocols as per industry standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the cable manufacturing industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of cable production processes, machinery, and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and production planning software.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of industry safety regulations and practices.
