Production Engineer

As a Production Planning & Scheduling specialist, your primary responsibility will be to develop detailed production plans and schedules based on order requirements, stock levels, and resource availability. You will work closely with procurement, inventory, and production teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery. Your role will also involve analyzing machine capacity and workforce availability to balance workloads and prevent bottlenecks. Planning for preventive maintenance and downtime will be essential to minimize production interruptions. To optimize the production processes, you will be expected to suggest and implement improvements that reduce cycle time and enhance efficiency. Familiarity with tools such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma will be advantageous. As a key point of contact, you will act as a bridge between production, quality control, and dispatch teams to facilitate a smooth workflow. Your attendance at daily production meetings and regular updates to stakeholders about progress, delays, or concerns will be crucial for effective coordination. In terms of reporting and documentation, maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation related to schedules, outputs, and deviations will be part of your routine tasks. Utilizing data analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions will help in streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency. This role is a full-time, permanent position with the added benefit of a yearly bonus. The availability of day shift work is preferred, and the work location will be in person.,
