Production Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Production Engineer to support our production team in planning, execution, quality control, and process improvement activities on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities:Assist in daily production planning and execution as per targets and deadlines Monitor machine operations and ensure efficient utilisation of resources Coordinate with the quality control team to maintain product standards Prepare and maintain production reports, logs, and shift records Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure equipment readiness Troubleshoot minor technical issues under the supervision of senior engineers Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations on the shop floor Assist in process improvements for enhanced productivity and reduced waste Qualifications & Skills:Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (freshers may apply) Basic understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control Good communication and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Office and basic production reporting tools A team player with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn
