Production Engineer

You will be responsible for production planning and execution to ensure timely delivery. Daily coordination with the sales team will be required for new orders and planning. Conduct daily in-process audits and take corrective actions as necessary. Maintain work-in-progress inventory as per requirements. Drive continuous process improvement projects and respond to inquiries according to marketing requirements. Keep track of daily saleable output and work on OEE improvement and Kaizen implementation in the plant. Maintain good coordination with inter-departments and provide necessary training to operators and helpers. Have a basic knowledge of TPM and implement safety protocols while ensuring Shopfloor 5S maintenance. Ensure compliance with internal and external audits and participate in various competitions related to quality and process improvement. Additionally, knowledge of ISO/IMS standards is necessary. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Chemical/Ceramic with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with good communication skills who have worked as a production shift in charge for a minimum of 4 years. Deep knowledge of Tunnel Oven, Digester, Boiler, and Hydraulic press is required. Familiarity with SA is also essential.
