Job Description

As a Production Engineer at the company, your primary role will be to achieve production targets while continuously improving production processes and equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Allocate daily work to operators and other workers based on planning requirements - Communicate business needs, schedule changes, process problems, and success stories - Supervise the workforce, including directing workflow, scheduling, evaluating, and disciplining production employees - Ensure safety procedures and processes are followed in the plant - Supervise the execution of production processes and procedures according to the Production Schedule - Ensure accurate and complete production documentation - Participate in continuous training of the labor force - Organize and analyze data collected during production - Manage 5S activities - Give direction and work assignments to employees - Administer supervisory responsibilities for production personnel, including selection, hiring, training, feedback on performance evaluations, corrective action, and work schedules - Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and effectively deal with people using a facilitative approach - Assess employee talent and developmental needs **Qualifications Required:** - Demonstrate technical understanding of production planning techniques, Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and Safety requirements - Knowledge in fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal - Understand welding drawing and code requirements - Knowledge of painting and corrosion categories - Strong written & verbal communication skills, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and MRP systems - Ability to work off-shifts and periodic weekend coverage - Ability to learn and work in SAP - Knowledge of productivity, OEE, and manpower planning - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Fabrication environment **About the Company:** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions to allow the world to use resources in smarter ways, driving sustainable transformation.
