We are seeking a Production Engineer who will be responsible for achieving production targets and continuously improving production processes and equipment. As a Production Engineer, you will have various responsibilities including daily work allotment to operators and workers, communication of business needs and process updates, supervision of the workforce, ensuring safety procedures in the plant, and overseeing the execution of production processes according to the Production Schedule. You will be expected to ensure accurate and complete production documentation, participate in the continuous training of the labor force, organize and analyze production data, manage 5S activities, and provide direction and work assignments to employees. Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting, hiring, training, and evaluating production personnel, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a technical understanding of production planning techniques, Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and safety requirements. Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding drawings, painting, corrosion categories, productivity assessment, OEE, and manpower planning is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and MRP systems, and the ability to work off-shifts and weekends are required. Experience in a Manufacturing or Fabrication environment, along with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, is preferred.
