As aProduct Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and accessibility of product data across various platforms. You will assist the Senior Product Data Manager in implementing best practices in data governance and maintaining streamlined workflows. This role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating with global teams to ensure product data effectively supports the clients digital marketing initiatives. General Responsibilities / Accountabilities Product Data ManagementOrganize, maintain, and update product data in the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring it aligns with marketing goals and is easily accessible for teams. Data Quality AssuranceConduct regular audits of product data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms. Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain high-quality data. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with internal teams (Marketing, IT, Content) and the Senior Product Data Manager to support data integration and ensure alignment of product data with marketing objectives. Support Data GovernanceAssist in enforcing data governance policies and best practices to ensure product data integrity and compliance with internal standards. System Integration SupportHelp manage the integration of product data into various digital marketing platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and optimizing automation processes. Reporting & Analytics SupportAssist in creating and maintaining data reports and dashboards to monitor product data performance, providing actionable insights for optimization. Process ImprovementContribute to continuous improvement of data management processes, collaborating with the Senior Product Data Manager to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation. Training & DocumentationAssist in documenting data management processes, guidelines, and best practices. Provide training and support to internal teams to ensure data is managed correctly across platforms. Issue ResolutionActively identify product data issues and work with cross-functional teams to address and resolve them, minimizing any disruptions to marketing activities. Ad Hoc SupportProvide additional support as needed for special projects related to product data and digital marketing initiatives.
Skills needed but not limited to
ExperienceMinimum of 4-6 years of experience in product data management, marketing operations, or related fields, with a strong focus on managing product data in a digital marketing or e-commerce context. CPG ExperiencePrevious experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector or a similar industry, with a strong understanding of how product data supports marketing efforts. Technical ProficiencyExperience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and familiarity with other marketing technology stacks. Basic knowledge of data integration and flow automation is a plus. Attention to DetailStrong focus on maintaining data accuracy and consistency across systems, with the ability to identify and resolve data issues. Communication & CollaborationExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating data-related issues into actionable solutions.
