Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Chemist to join our manufacturing team This role is vital to ensure the consistency, quality, and compliance of formulations during production The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support seamless production processes

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and monitor the manufacturing process of skincare, cosmetic, and oral care products Conduct in-process checks and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and quality standards Coordinate with the R&D and QA teams for batch validations and production trials Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and other regulatory documentation Troubleshoot process deviations and propose corrective actions Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are followed within the production area Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot to commercial batches Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams for raw material and packaging planning

Qualifications and Skills:

Education/Certifications:

B Sc /M Sc in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Technology, or related field

Hard Skills:

Knowledge of cosmetic chemistry and formulation techniques Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards in cosmetics manufacturing Proficient in using production and lab equipment Documentation and reporting proficiency Understanding of raw material specifications and COAs

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Excellent organizational and time management skills Team player with good communication and interpersonal abilities Proactive and adaptive in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Experience:

2-5 years of experience in production operations within the cosmetic, skincare, or personal care industry Prior experience in private label manufacturing or working with contract manufacturing setups is an advantage
