Product Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a member of the Banking Consulting team at Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU), you will have the opportunity to leverage your technology knowledge and skills while working with a new generation of Oracle Banking products built on next-generation architecture. Your role will involve end-to-end development, implementation, and support activities in the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities: - Design customizations, code, and perform unit testing - Execute test cycles, including End of Days processes, migrations, and software integrations - Work with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database for software programming - Manage release processes and utilize source control tools - Track issues on applications and follow up for resolutions with stakeholders - Interact with clients to present solutions effectively - Deploy and troubleshoot software on application server platforms - Analyze Oracle Database AWR/ADDM reports and troubleshoot performance issues - Communicate and document effectively in English - Utilize knowledge of banking terminologies, concepts, and processes Qualifications Required: - Experience in software development, implementation, and support activities - Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database - Familiarity with release management and source control tools - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills - Ability to learn new technologies quickly and take on new tasks - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Willingness to provide on-call support during off-business hours as needed - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Additional Details: Exposure to the banking domain, software development processes, DevOps tools, testing tools, and programming languages like Core Java, J2EE, Rest API, JavaScript, and XML is beneficial. Awareness of the latest technologies in the banking industry is also advantageous for this role.,
