As part of the Americas Region under FSGIU - Consulting, the Banking Consulting Americas division delivers Oracle Technology and Applications solutions to clients in North America and the Caribbean region. The service offerings encompass Application Implementation, Managed Services, and Customization development services for Oracle Financial Services Software Banking products. Your role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your technology knowledge, skills, and experience within the Banking Consulting team, working with cutting-edge Oracle Banking products built on next-generation architecture using the latest technologies. Your responsibilities as a Technical Consultant in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activity streams will involve working as a Senior Technical team member, providing solutions and support for client issues in production environments, coordinating with Oracle and onsite/offshore teams, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, managing customer relationships, ensuring quality code delivery, translating business requirements into technology specifications, and adhering to defined processes and standards. Qualifications required for this role include experience in end-to-end Support activities encompassing expertise in coding, unit testing, test cycles, migrations, integrations, software programming languages such as Core Java, J2EE, Rest API, JavaScript, XML, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, release management, source control tools, software deployment, troubleshooting, banking terminologies, team management, Microsoft Office proficiency, and client interaction skills. Exposure to the Banking Domain, software development processes, DevOps tools, Testing tools, latest banking technologies, and hands-on experience with Core Banking products like Oracle Banking Platform or Oracle FLEXCUBE suite are advantageous. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and have 3 to 5 years of experience in core banking application development, implementation, or support. The individual should be willing to work offshore, travel to client locations, pursue technical certifications related to Oracle Banking Products, and exhibit abilities to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments as a team player.
