Job Description

A Product Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and offering customer support for a company's products or services. They play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving technical problems, and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Technical Assistance:

Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance and solutions.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide step-by-step instructions to resolve problems.

Issue Resolution:

Diagnose and resolve customer-reported problems with products or services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue escalation and resolution

Customer Communication:

Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to understand their issues and provide timely updates on progress.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and their technical aspects.

Stay updated on product updates and changes.

Documentation:

Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions accurately in internal systems.

Problem-Solving:

Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Share insights and feedback with product development teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Relevant certifications in technical support or a related discipline can be beneficial.

Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-centric mindset and empathy.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Adaptability to different product environments and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and software tools.
  • Detail-oriented for accurate issue documentation and tracking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
