We are seeking an experienced Product Owners to lead the requirements management and delivery for Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems. Knowledge of working on TCAS/KAVACH System is highly desirable. The role involves understanding specifications of TCAS / Kavach as well as exiting ATP Systems at Siemens, writing system level as well as component level requirements, story writing and Scrum process involvement, validation of requirements after delivery, ensure safety standards are followed at SIL4 level and traceability matrix exists from requirements to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of railway signaling systems, embedded testing methodologies, and a passion for driving team delivery.Key Responsibilities:Requirements ManagementDevelop and communicate the product vision and roadmap to all relevant stakeholders and team membersWork closely with stakeholders to identify and understand their needs and translate these into product requirementsCreate and prioritize a product backlog, ensuring the team is working on the highest value featuresDefine user stories and acceptance criteria and ensure they are clearly understood by the development teamWork closely with the development team throughout the product development process, providing clarification and direction where neededReview and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the defined acceptance criteria and overall quality standardsMeasure and report on product performance and progress towards strategic goalsContinuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders.Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that may affect the teams ability to meet project objectivesEnsure test coverage for SIL4 safety-critical systems in compliance with EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.Take lead of scrum teams as the Product OwnerDefine product vision, roadmap as per new specifications released by RDSO.Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategyProvide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user storiesWork closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROILead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalitiesFollow our competitors and the industryKeep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trendsDomain-Specific ExperienceUnderstand overall system from technology and functionality standpoint. Define dependency list as well as delivery checklist for each Kavach components.Validate requirements have met at the end of the sprint or during testing cycles based on the test evidence.Collaborate with system architects and safety engineers to ensure traceability and completeness of test cases and product documentation.Share your knowledge with development team to ensure they have understood "Why" part.Performance & Risk ManagementExperience in implementing risks identification and mitigation strategies.Optimize sprint planning and PI and roadmap planning.Support test team with compliance with regulatory requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:Must Have:Bachelors or masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.Previous working experience as a Product Owner for at least 3 years.10+ years of experience of development, testing and/or requirements engineering in embedded systems, preferably in railway or other safety-critical domains.Understanding and experience of working with CENELEC/SIL4-compliant systems.In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principlesOutstanding communication, presentation and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsSharp analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailFollowing are Nice- To -Have requirements:Hands-on experience with TCAS/Kavach or similar train protection systems is desired.Strong knowledge of real-time systems, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet), and embedded software concepts.Familiarity with EN 5012x standards, safety lifecycle, and formal verification methods.Exposure to other ATP systems such as ETCS, PTC, or CBTC.Knowledge of Requirement Management tools like Polarion, Jira, Confluence, Doors etc.Knowledge and experience of working on requirements traceability matrix.Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Leadership and mentoring capabilities.High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.Desired
