Product Owner

Job Description

Technical Skills: • Should have 10+ years of experience in working with large scale services/systems • Good experience as product owner with backend API services preferably in eCommerce domain • Drives business requirements, analyses requirements, reprioritizing and scoping them for Product Increments / Sprints, Develops and/or directs development of schedules • Coordination between project team and business users on User Acceptance tests • Responsible for creating of user stories and grooming the stories based on business requirements. • Responsible for defining acceptance criteria and exit criteria for stories. • Responsible for clarifying teams queries on business requirements and priorities. • Work closely Engineering Manager regarding the priorities and Sprint plan • Helping scrum master for – scheduling ceremonies, driving scrum calls, coordination towards resolving impediments, capacity planning and tracking metrics (burndown, velocity etc.) when needed. • Good experience working in agile methodologies – SCRUM / ADAPTABILITY • Collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices. • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross- functional initiatives. • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Process Skills: • Agile Methodology: • Strong understanding of sprint planning • Participate in scrum meeting. • Lead Pre-grooming and Grooming Sessions • Prioritize the activities. • Coordinate with the offshore team. • Scrum master experience is beneficial • Product Management experience is must Behavioural Skills: • Result oriented team player • Good in communication • Quick in resolving impediments • Interpersonal skills
