Product Officer and Chemist

As a Product Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing products while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include: - Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure product formulas comply with BIS regulations, safety standards, and labeling requirements. - Review test results and make necessary adjustments to formulas before production. - Develop new methods for evaluating products against BIS standards. - Product Formulation and Development: - Conduct research to develop new products and improve existing ones. - Collaborate with production staff to oversee adherence to process requirements. - Lead the creation, modification, and improvement of formulations and technologies. - Project Management: - Plan and execute manufacturing batches to meet production timelines. - Utilize project management techniques for effective project completion. - Generate documentation to communicate project progress. - Quality Assurance and Testing: - Prepare product samples for stability, efficacy, and safety tests. - Test new products before market introduction to ensure compliance. - Identify opportunities for process improvements in lab testing. - Vendor and Supplier Relations: - Interact with contract formulation labs and collaborate with suppliers. - Coordinate raw material deliveries and finished product shipments. - Prepare specifications for raw materials and formulations. - Technical Expertise and Communication: - Provide technical guidance on product formulation, development, and compliance. - Create scientific presentations for colleagues, customers, and conferences. - Showcase product innovations through publications and presentations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field. - Internship experience in a formal environment. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and compliance. - Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in technical presentations.
