Job Description

As a Product Officer at our company, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to ensure product compliance, development, project management, quality assurance, vendor relations, and technical communication. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure all product formulas comply with BIS regulations, safety standards, and labeling requirements. - Review test results for necessary formula adjustments before production. - Develop new evaluation methods for products against BIS standards. - Product Formulation and Development: - Conduct research to develop new products and enhance existing ones. - Collaborate with production staff to train and oversee process adherence. - Lead formulation and technology improvements for enhanced product performance and cost reduction. - Design and execute experiments for new formulations and processes scalability. - Project Management: - Plan and execute manufacturing batches to meet production timelines. - Use project management techniques for effective project completion. - Generate documentation like technology transfer, SOPs, and project reports. - Quality Assurance and Testing: - Prepare product samples for stability, efficacy, and safety tests. - Lead testing of new products for safety standards and performance levels. - Identify process improvement opportunities related to lab testing. - Vendor and Supplier Relations: - Interact with contract labs and coordinate raw material deliveries. - Collaborate with suppliers for product shipments and adherence to standards. - Prepare specifications for raw materials and formulations. - Technical Expertise and Communication: - Provide technical guidance on product formulation, development, and compliance. - Create scientific presentations for colleagues, customers, and technical conferences. - Lead publications and presentations at conferences to showcase product innovations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, food technology, or related applied science field. - Previous internships or projects in a formal work environment. - Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and compliance. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements. - Proficient in creating technical presentations and documentation. This full-time position is based in Bangalore with occasional travel required for vendor meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities.,
