Product Manager/Business Analyst - UPI

What to Expect in This Role:

● Drive the definition, design, and rollout of core UPI features, always keeping end-user needs and feedback at the center

● Own and write detailed product specs and feature documents with clarity and precision

● Collaborate closely with engineering, compliance, and QA teams to ensure timely and accurate execution

● Oversee UAT cycles, identify edge cases, and track resolutions to closure

● Stay updated on the latest NPCI guidelines and ensure product alignment

● Own end-to-end delivery in a lean, hands-on team environment

Required Experience & Skills:

● 1-3 years as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Product Analyst in a tech-driven organization (FinTech preferred)

● Proven experience in building consumer-facing UPI/payment products from 0 to 1

● Strong understanding of the UPI ecosystem, including underlying infrastructure and regulatory framework

● Hands-on experience with UPI compliance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and project management under tight timelines

● Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and payment tech stacks

● Ability to draft detailed product requirements for building UPI features and workflows

● Prior experience collaborating with Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functional teams, with a strong customer-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

● Educational background: Engineering + MBA

● Experience owning a mobile app-based payment product

● Exposure to high-scale consumer tech environments

● Direct experience building a UPI TPAP product (individual or merchant-focused)
