Product Manager

As an experienced Product Manager, you will be joining our B2C team at smallcase to contribute to shaping the future of investing in India. Your role within the Experience Team involves owning the end-to-end user experience and related business metrics on both the smallcase app and web platform. This position offers you the opportunity to work as a generalist PM, focusing on aspects such as user psychology, design-heavy UI flows, and business fundamentals within the fintech ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include co-owning the product roadmap in collaboration with leadership, managing sprint cycles, creating spec documents, and overseeing development and delivery with engineering, design, data, and QA teams. You will also work closely with users, analytics, and support teams to track and measure user activity, drive product growth to achieve business goals, and develop original solutions to challenging problems alongside a nimble team. To excel in this role, you should have 2-6 years of direct product management experience in a user-facing (B2C/D2C/B2B) product environment. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining ideas, gathering and incorporating feedback, and sharing opinions effectively. Additionally, you will need the ability to troubleshoot with engineers, conduct A/B testing, and have experience in copywriting. Prior experience in finance and the stock market would be advantageous, as well as a relevant degree in technology.
