Role
RocSearch is looking for a Product Manager to support the end-to-end product lifecyclefrom understanding business needs to defining product requirements, validating concepts with users, and supporting delivery. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to ship improvements that are measurable, user-centered, and execution-ready.
Responsibilities
- Gather and structure stakeholder inputs and business goals; convert BRDs and problem statements into clear, executable PRDs (scope, non-goals, dependencies, edge cases, and rollout considerations)
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria that Engineering and Design can implement with minimal ambiguity; maintain requirement traceability from business objectives to delivery scope
- Define success metrics and measurement plans (north-star and supporting metrics), including instrumentation/analytics requirements and baseline vs. target expectations
- Support rapid prototyping and wireframing (low- to mid-fidelity) to validate flows early; collaborate with Design on user journeys, information architecture, and interaction details
- Plan and run lightweight user research (interviews, surveys, usability and task-based tests); synthesize findings into insights and recommendations that update PRDs and priorities
- Support brand perception studies (awareness, trust, differentiation, reasons for preference) through research design, data collection, segmentation, and insight synthesis; translate outcomes into product and messaging recommendations
- Track user journey performance (activation, engagement, drop-offs, retention) via dashboards and analysis; share insights to inform prioritization and iteration cycles
- Assist with execution and release readiness: backlog grooming, sprint support, functional testing, bug triage, release notes, launch coordination, and post-release monitoring
Candidate profile
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong written communication and structured thinking: ability to convert ambiguous inputs into clear requirements and next steps
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Marketing
- User-first mindset and curiosity to learn through research, data, and iteration
- Familiarity with PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and agile product delivery
- Hands-on experience with wireframing/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Whimsical, or equivalent)
- Comfort with basic product analytics concepts (funnels, cohorts, retention) and dashboarding/reporting
- Prior exposure to user research methods and/or brand perception studies
