Job Title: Product Manager / Product Owner Multi-Disciplinary Engineering (Software, Embedded, IoT, Mechanical, Electrical) Experience: 6 to 12 Years Location: Pune / Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite/Hybrid Industry: Product Development | Engineering Solutions | IoT Systems Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Product Manager / Product Owner to define and drive product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization for complex, multi-disciplinary solutions involving Web/Software platforms, Embedded Systems, Mechanical/Electrical components, and IoT devices . This role bridges engineering, customer needs, and business strategy to deliver high-impact products. Key Responsibilities: Own the product lifecycle from ideation to release and beyond, across hardware and software components. Define and maintain the product roadmap , aligning with company goals and customer needs. Break down high-level concepts into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams software, embedded, mechanical, electrical, QA, and design – to ensure feature feasibility and delivery. Prioritize backlog items based on business impact, technical dependencies, and delivery constraints. Act as a voice of the customer and translate feedback into actionable requirements. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos . Ensure clear documentation of features, workflows, and system interactions. Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and define go-to-market strategies. Align product releases with compliance, certification, and hardware readiness cycles . Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related technical discipline. 6+ years of experience in product management or as a product owner, with at least 2+ years handling hardware-software integrated products . Strong understanding of IoT architecture , Embedded software , and cloud-connected systems . Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Aha!, or Azure DevOps. Proven ability to work with cross-domain engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, electronics, and software). Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience launching products in regulated domains (e.g., medical devices, automotive, industrial). Understanding of industry standards like CE, FCC, ISO, or IEC for product certifications. Exposure to user experience design , data analytics, and API platform strategy.
