Product Manager III

Responsibilities

The Product Manager 3 is responsible for products of medium to high complexity. Responsible for essential product functions like building product strategy, defining key business outcomes as part of product discovery, accountable for success of product delivery as per defined outcomes, ensures every goal-aligned unit of value created by multiple teams is measurable and can show progress towards overall product objectives, Communicates key information (strategy, priorities, plans, experiments, results, etc.) regarding the product(s) with stakeholders and communicates effectively as part of the product management team supporting a broader product family or portfolio, Identifies opportunities to improve the product management practice within their sphere of responsibility; and takes action to continuously improve demonstrating effective product leadership.

Qualifications

Should have minimum 12+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 6+ years of end to end product management experience with demonstrated experience in managing 1 or more products; experience with stakeholder and relationship management in a multi product environment.

The Product Manager 3 is responsible for delivering valuable and viable solutions in partnership with the product team. Product Manager 3 manages products of high complexity/sensitivity. They understand product strategy for their area and are responsible for building shared understanding with their team(s) of the highest-value opportunities and problems to solve. They demonstrate a strong understanding of how product disciplines collaborate to accomplish outcomes.Must Have AttributesThey should have understanding of key product techniques and skills required to manage the product life-cycle.Functional Understanding of Capital Markets as a whole with some elements of Asset Management in detail is preferred alongwith clear idea of Front Office and Middle-BackOffice operations and knowledge of various Intermediaries/Entities in this business. ORThey must have strong understanding of overall Asset Management business wherein domain expertise in one of the Front Office functional areas like - Portfolio Management Services, Trading, Research, Risk - and MiddleOffice functional areas like - Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Securities & Valuation - would be preferred.
