- Lead the Lighting Product Group engineering function for all vehicle platforms.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for lighting systems concept, design, validation, industrialization, and launch. - Define and execute the lighting product roadmap aligned with OEM strategy and future mobility trends. - Collaborate with design studios to integrate aesthetics with functional performance. - Drive innovation in lighting technologies (LED, Light Projection, OLED, laser, adaptive Lighting, matrix Lighting, smart lighting). - Ensure compliance with global automotive standards (AIS, ECE, SAE, FMVSS, AIS). - Manage supplier partnerships to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets. - Benchmark global competitors and incorporate best practices. - Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team fostering innovation and accountability.
15-18 years of experience in automotive product engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Proven track record in lighting systems development (headlamps, tail lamps, DRLs, interior lighting, adaptive lighting). Experience in OEM product lifecycle management (PLM) from concept to launch. Exposure to domestic and global automotive standards (AIS, ECE, ISO, SAE, FMVSS). Vendor and supplier management experience, especially with Tier-1 lighting suppliers.
