Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Engineer – Sales & Marketing who will play a key role in business development, technical sales, and customer support for METERDI’s product range.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in test and measurement instruments and the ability to communicate product value effectively to clients across various industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Hardness Testers, Surface Roughness Testers, Digital Multimeters, Borescopes, and Environmental Measuring Devices.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, automotive, R&D, educational, and government sectors.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable instruments or solutions.
• Support the marketing team in creating product content, brochures, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define pricing strategies, technical documentation, and customer proposals.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, dealers, and end-users.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to represent METERDI’s product portfolio.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to assist the R&D team in product improvement.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic market planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or application support for Test & Measurement Instruments or related products.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles such as hardness, roughness, and environmental testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in marketing similar products.
• Knowledge of industrial testing standards (ISO, ASTM, DIN).
• Hands-on experience with demo setups or field testing.
• Passion for technology and customer engagement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
