Product Development Manager

As a Product Development Manager at Western Agro Farms, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, sustainability, and quality in our premium chicken egg production, packaging, and export operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and launch of new products that will differentiate us in the market. You will work closely with our design and R&D teams to conceptualize and create innovative products that not only cater to market demands but also resonate with the company's overarching vision. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing the design of packaging materials such as boxes and sleeves that appeal to consumers. In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with generating and assessing creative ideas to ensure that our products stand out amidst competition. Your ability to craft persuasive presentations and marketing materials will be essential in engaging both internal and external stakeholders effectively. Collaboration with the marketing team will be key as you jointly devise and execute product launch strategies that drive visibility and adoption in the market. By analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights, you will guide the direction of our product portfolio to stay ahead of the curve. Drawing upon your knowledge of business principles, encompassing finance, marketing, and supply chain management, you will work towards optimizing product profitability and expanding market reach. Your role will also entail conducting various marketing activities, including establishing partnerships with retail supermarkets and distribution channels to introduce and promote our new offerings. Moreover, you will be instrumental in creating a market for packaged eggs by onboarding vendors, supermarkets, and online portals. Your goal will be to position our products competitively in the market, rivaling established brands like EGGOZ and similar companies. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Chandigarh, Chandigarh. A bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, along with at least 2 years of experience in the poultry, FMCG, or online shopping portal industry. Your willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is desirable to effectively fulfill the responsibilities associated with this position.
